Swansea win : Two cruise missiles from Vipotnik ! Sat 25th Oct 2025 18:09 It may well be a huge sigh of relief from both Swans head coach Alan Sheehan and his assistant Darren O’Dea. However, questions were still being asked after a second half performance bar a wonder goal from hitman Vipotnik that resembled so many this season. That isn’t to say anything other than if Sheehan gets the criticism for losing then today he gets the plaudits for winning. |

Sheehan reacts but there’s little to be said in his defence : The future ? Thu 23rd Oct 2025 11:54 It was another night for the brave to venture out in Swansea last night. Driving rain and the lure of a warm night in with a plethora of football matches to choose from won for many again. Those that did venture out in their thousands yet again are still wondering this morning of any of their efforts are worth it. |
Not again ! Swansea City get a late shot on target in a dismal home performance Wed 22nd Oct 2025 23:09 Despite the talk and the build up the Swans didn’t have the finishing power in the second half to earn a point from this game. In fact it was t until the last two minutes that chances on target were made. Until then it was pretty much huff and puff. Yes Yalcouyé was sent off and on reflection regardless of contact or not with the impressive acting skills of Steve Cook he had to go. That was on thirty four minutes and to be honest before that the Swans play wasn’t any different to the next thirty five of playing time. |
Alan Sheehan : Is coaching & management of players catching up with him ? Mon 20th Oct 2025 08:00 Swansea City players return to Fairwood this morning with much to digest after their weekend performance against Southampton. Despite earning a point, on any other given day they would have lost that fixture. It was more about Southampton and their poor finishing than a solid defensive performance. |
Swans somehow gain a point at Southampton ! Sat 18th Oct 2025 16:19 The Swans remain in twelfth in the Championship this weekend with only Portsmouth able to leapfrog them, and that will mean an away win at Leicester City this evening (7:45pm) This early kick off somehow ended goalless although it wasn’t for the want of trying, especially in the first half as Swansea City gifted a number of chances to Southampton. |
Southampton v Swansea City : Match day morning & teams Sat 18th Oct 2025 06:22 It’s a 12:30pm kick off at St Mary’s Stadium in the Championship today. Another fixture brought forwards to avoid the 3pm football blackout and another fixture that means an early start to the day for Swans fans. |
Swans travel south plus Sheehan poll reaction and early team news Thu 16th Oct 2025 12:25 The Swans travel to Southampton tomorrow for a fixture which really has come too soon for head coach, Alan Sheehan. The issues as we highlighted in the week are returning players to the squad after international duty, travel times and overall well-being after significant and insignificant fixtures for their country. |
Swans defeated : Foxes ability and guile thwarts the Swans Sat 04th Oct 2025 20:24 It was disappointing performance from Swansea City as they went down 1-3 to Leicester City this afternoon at the swansea.com. There was expectation in the hearts of those Swans fans at the game but when tested they didn’t have the ability to take ahold and finish matters. |
